The purpose of this task is to ensure that all the Incident Management handover activities are executed as per schedule and plan.

Main Description
The Incident Manager must engage in planning for handover that identifies the tasks and actions necessary for a smooth transition of the Incident Management to the Client or other Service Provider. This should include identification of timescales as well as responsibilities.

Incident Management handover activities must be conducted as planned. Any deviation needs to be identified and corrective actions need to be planned and executed to adress the same. Actions on outstanding or pending incidents must be carried out as agreed and planned.

The Incident Manager must archive the documents,reports and data pertainig to Incident Management as agreed. The Incident Manager should create an Incident Management Handover Report summarizing all the activites of the Incident Management handover.

Engagement Manager should obtain Client sign off on the Incident Management handover activities which confirms the formal closure of the process.
